What is a Navel Gazer?

A Navel Gazer is someone who engages in pseudo-thinking and discussion. This can be in almost any arena including scientific, philosophical, political, or even self-analysis. Typically it is applied to things that are not important to the mainstream populace. In fact it is applied to things that are not important to anyone.

Navel Gazers do not discuss the question of life, the universe, and everything. Well, they might. But, only because it happens to be related to a very engaging book of a similar title. (Footnote 42)

This site is where you will find some of my own Gazings. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Click a title on the side bar to read an example. If I receive Gazings from anyone, and they are "good enough" (whatever that means), I will post them. However, I'm likely to edit them for spelling, etc. I will (hopefully) not edit the meaning or intent of any content.
